Please donate to Captain B!

Capt B, over at One Marine's View, had the great idea to put a full-page ad in a major newspaper, supporting our troops. It serves to both support them, and to tell the major media outlets to f-off regarding their constant attacks on our military and conservative politics in general. He's asking for donations to make this happen. If you donate, your name will be listed among the supporters on the ad. I just donated some money, because I think this is a great cause.

For so long, our soldiers, marines, seamen, and airmen have been abroad, and have been disparaged by our politicians, college students, and major media players. Support for our fighting men and women can only be found in a few places in the media. Since the advent of Foxnews, and the marked conservative shift of the New York Post, the other major media players, such as CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times, et al, have begun to swing much farther left, all the while losing readership and revenues. This is one more nail in the coffin. Please show your support for this project. It may never get off the ground, but even if it doesn't, you'll still be supporting our troops. See, Capt B sends cigars to soldiers in Iraq, and organizes drives to send over care packages. I'm sure that if the ad is never purchased, the money you donate will end up helping a Lance Corporal, a PFC, a Petty Officer, or a Sergeant somewhere.
